ESSEX — These municipal meetings, open to the public, are scheduled in Essex this week:

Today

Board of Registrars, 4 p.m., Town Hall, 30 Martin St.. 2013 Street Listing: computer input, filing, wrap up; Special State Primary (4/30) and State Election (6/30); Local Town Meeting (5/6) and Local Election (5/13); Election technology; consider amending a previous vote to make a standardized general review procedure for the Town of Essex Board of Registrars for reviewing affidavits outlined under MGL Ch. 51 S. 47 to parties who have been disqualified in the town previously.

Selectmen, 7 p.m., TOHP Burnham Library. Public hearing for a transfer of license to Diamond 4 Cookhouse at 234 John Wise Ave. Discussion of the formation of an ad hoc committee to consider space and budgetary needs of the Police Department. Consider a recommendation from Police Chief Peter Silva to appoint Robert Hemeon to the position of part-time police officer. Discussion of proposed changes to shellfish regulations. Consider approval of an extension of the Town of Ipswich water system under public roads in Essex to serve the Lewis’s restaurant property, provided that any and all necessary state and local permits are obtained in advance of construction. Annual Town Meeting Warrant. Consider a request and correspondence from Thayer Adams, president of the Conomo Point Association. Review and sign an agreement to extend purchase and sale agreements for Conomo Point properties.

Finance Committee, 7:30 p.m., TOHP Burnham Library. Discussion of Annual Town Meeting warrant articles.

Tuesday

Manchester Essex Regional School Subcommittee on Finance, 9:30 a.m., Manchester Essex Regional School District Superintendent’s Conference Room. Planning for fiscal 2013 budget.

Manchester Essex Regional School Committee, 7 p.m., Manchester Essex Regional High and Middle school library. Introduction to new principals, common core update, budget workshop update, cheer leading request.

Thursday

Board of Health, 7 p.m., TOHP Burnham Library.
