Marine weather for Cape Ann

Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.

Gale watch in effect this morning through late tonight.

Today, west winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 35 knots. Seas 5 to 8 feet.

Tonight, west winds 25 to 30 knots, diminishing to 20 to 25 knots after midnight. Seas 5 to 8 feet.

Saturday, west winds 20 to 25 knots, diminishing to around 15 knots in the afternoon. Gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.

Saturday night, northwest winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Sunday, northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Sunday night, northwest winds 15 to 20 knots, diminishing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Monday, west winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Monday night, south winds around 10 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Tuesday, south winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Tuesday night, south winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
