Saturday, Oct. 13

Pumpkin Day, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Cogswell’s Grant, 60 Spring St. Hay wagon rides, pumpkin carving and decorating, pie-eating contests, cider pressing, crafts and games, hot mulled apple cider and pumpkin pie. Choose a jack-o-lantern from the patch. $6 for adults, $4 for children, free for Historic New England members.

Monday, Oct. 15

Preschool Story Time, for children ages 3 to 5, 10:30 to 11:10 a.m., Manchester Public Library.
