Parent support group
HEART, a group founded by mothers of gay children on Cape Ann, meets monthly to share thoughts and experiences and to offer support to other parents of gay children. Whether your child is 5 or 35 you are welcome to join us in a safe, comfortable setting. Meetings are one morning a month. Memorial scholarship fundraiser
A fundraiser to benefit the Sandra “Sandy” Orlando Memorial Scholarship Fund will take place Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 5 p.m. until closing, at Giuseppe’s Ristorante & Piano Bar, 2 Main St. A percentage of the night’s proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund.
