Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 35,500 pounds of fish Monday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Medium and small pollock: 15,200 pounds (89 cents)

Scrod haddock: 5,900 pounds ($1.96)

Large hake: 3,700 pounds ($1.81)

Small dabs: 2,000 pounds ($1.30)

Medium hake: 1,300 pounds ($1.69)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 49,600 pounds of fish and 37,500 pounds of scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 22,600 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
