Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange reported no landings Wednesday, and handled 52,700 pounds of fish Thursday and 85,700 pounds Friday.

Top species landed Friday and average prices were:

Medium and small pollock: 48,100 pounds (80 cents)

Small dabs: 5,100 pounds (91 cents)

Scrod haddock: 4,700 pounds ($3.15)

Large monktail: 3,500 pounds ($3.79)

Medium dabs: 3,000 pounds ($1.13)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 43,900 pounds of fish and 17,500 pounds of scallops Tuesday, 86,900 pounds of fish and 39,100 pounds of scallops Wednesday, and 15,500 pounds of fish and 34,300 pounds of scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported no landings Tuesday, but handled 8,700 pounds of fish Wednesday and 28,400 pounds Thursday.

No landings were reported Wednesday, Thursday or Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
