2013 GLOUCESTER HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION AWARDS

This is a partial list of awards given to members of the Gloucester High School Class of 2013. More of the list will be published as space becomes available.

Awards and Scholarships

College Women’s Club of Cape Ann awards The Claudia Perry Scholarship to a student accepted at a college or university granting the bachelor’s degree who has set forth evidence of scholarship, service, leadership, and financial need, and who has fulfilled application requirements.

$750 each — Megan Marie Marchant and Katerina Marie Russo

Patty Cusumano and Nicky Cusumano Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a member of the graduating class who has been accepted at an accredited school, college or technical school and who has demonstrated evidence of good character, scholarship, financial need and an interest in photography.

$400 — Leneai Christa Stuart

Rebecca J. Dailey–Hennessey Technology Scholarship is awarded to a member of the graduating class of Gloucester High School who has been accepted at an institute of higher education with intent to pursue a career in a technical field, such as engineering, math or science.

$1,000 — Jacob Herman Holscher

East Gloucester Elementary School PTO Scholarship is awarded to two graduating Gloucester High School seniors, one to a boy and one to a girl, who attended the East Gloucester Elementary School, have exhibited leadership in the school/community and have been accepted to an institution for higher education.

$300 each — Patrick Michael Kelley and Angela Kathleen Marino

Erin K. Ernest Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a member of the graduating class who has been accepted to an accredited school with preference given to a student choosing a major in veterinary medicine or veterinary technician.

$250 each — Nicholas Joseph Lucido and Derek Milton Rodgers

The Mimi Ferrini Art Scholarship sponsored by the Sawyer Free Library is awarded to a member of the graduating class who has been accepted to an accredited, professional art school, a university art program, or for private study with a recognized practicing professional artist. A portfolio of current work must be presented to the selection committee.
