Monday, July 1

Rockport Garden Club meets, noon, Rockport Community House. Tea and short business meeting, followed at 1:15 by presentation by Adele Keohan, president of New England Daylily Society; “H is for Daylily: The History, Horticulture, Habitat, and Hoarding of Hemerocallis.”

Sandy Bay Historical Society’s annual free open house, 2 to 4 p.m., Rockport’s Old Castle, corner of Granite and Curtis streets in Pigeon Cove. Learn about the history of this circa 1715 home and why it is called a “castle”. Refreshments served.
