Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 66,400 pounds of fish Tuesday.

Top species landed and average price were:

Medium and small pollock: 25,600 pounds (76 cents)

Ocean perch: 19,600 pounds (86 cents)

Market cod: 6,600 pounds ($2.51)

Large sow hake: 3,400 pounds (91 cents)

Pollock: 1,800 pounds ($1.09)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 141,800 pounds of fish Monday.

The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford handled 52,500 pounds of scallops Monday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported no landings on Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.

The Holy Family Guild is having a Strawberry Festival, plant sale, and "General Store" on June 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Home-made preserves, fresh-baked pies, cookies and goodies, strawberry shortcake, and much more will be available for sale.
