Poet's Corner: The Lucky Ones

We are the lucky ones

We play at life

We arrange our small trivialities

First in a line, then in a circle

Only to topple them over

And arrange them once more —

Though of course in the end

We will lose

Like all the others

Who cannot afford to play —

And yet, we are the lucky ones.
