Bird Origami with Laura Geggis, 2 p.m., Manchester Public Library. Unique paper art instruction designed for ages 8 and older; okay for experienced 7 year olds and adults. Registration required.

Sunday, Jan. 13

“Bibles and Bagels,” led by Dr. Judy Haley of First Parish Church, 9:15 to 9:40 a.m., conference room at 1 Chapel Lane. Find out how to read the Bible with greater understanding and insight. Starts and ends promptly.

Wednesday, Jan. 16

Mother Goose Story Time, for infants through age 2, 10:30 to 10:50 a.m. Simple rhymes, stories and instruments. In the Reading Room while the Children’s Room is being renovated.

Council on Aging’s trip to Trader Joe’s in Danvers, van departs at 9:30 a.m. Allow one hour or so for shopping at Trader Joe’s or other stores in the Plaza. For reservations, call 978-526-7500.
