Rockport Goings On

Events listed here are open to the public and sponsored by nonprofit groups unless otherwise noted. Rummage sale

Pigeon Cove Circle will host its Winter Rent-a-table Rummage Sale and Coffee Break on Saturday, March 9, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Cove Circle Center, Breakwater Avenue. Table rentals are $25; call Michele at 978-546-1195. Space is limited.

‘Warm Music’

“Warm Music for a Winter’s Night: The Complete Brahms Piano Trios” on Friday, Jan. 25, 7:30 p.m., at the Shalin Liu Performance Center. Proceeds benefit the Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras. Tickets: Benefactor tickets (with meet-the-artists dessert reception) are $150; patrons are $100; and concert-only tickets are $65-$35. Kennedy Museum

The Rockport Senior Center offers a daytrip to the John F. Kennedy Library & Museum & Maggiano’s on Wednesday, Feb. 27. Capture the powerful story of the Kennedy years in 25 dramatic exhibits, followed by great Italian food at Maggiano’s. Sign up early. $78/per person. Call Diane or Paula 978-546-2573

Pilates Yoga

Rockport Recreation’s Pilates Yoga strength training class meets Mondays, from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. at Rockport Community House, 58 Broadway. The full six week course is $30. For more information, call Caitlin Chandler 978-546-1309

‘Grease’

The Rockport Middle School will perform the musical “Grease” on Jan. 24-26, 7 p.m., and Jan. 27, 2 p.m., at the school’s John E. Lane Performing Arts Center. There are two casts who will perform on two nights each; the first cast will be Thursday and Saturday, and the second cast will be Friday and Sunday. Admission is $10, $8 for students/seniors.
