Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange reported no landings Wednesday but handled 56,600 pounds of fish Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Medium and small pollock: 11,400 pounds (62 cents)

Large hake: 6,500 pounds ($1.32)

Ocean perch: 4,600 pounds (62 cents)

Medium dabs: 3,900 pounds ($1.27)

Large monktail: 3,700 pounds ($2.70)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 113,100 pounds of fish and 54,000 pounds of scallops Monday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 27,300 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
