Top species landed and average prices were:
Market cod: 900 pounds ($3.44)
Large hake: 600 pounds ($1.72)
Large pollock: 600 pounds ($1.20)
Sow hake: 500 pounds ($2.05)
Small monktail: 400 pounds ($2)
Other landings
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 35,000 pounds of fish and 17,600 pounds of scallops Tuesday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported no landings Tuesday.
No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
