Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 44,100 pounds of fish Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Large hake: 10,500 pounds ($1.77)

Medium and small pollock: 7,500 pounds (63 cents)

Large monktail: 4,300 pounds ($3.09)

Small dabs: 2,500 pounds ($2.02)

Small greysole: 2,300 pounds ($2.18)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE) New England Seafood Display Auction, an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 45,600 pounds of fish and 5,800 pounds of scallops Monday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 5,700 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
