The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 44,100 pounds of fish Thursday, but did not submit a report Friday.
Top species landed Thursday and average prices were:
Medium and small pollock: 17,100 pounds (60 cents)
Ocean perch: 11,100 pounds (53 cents)
Large pollock: 4,400 pounds (65 cents)
Small dabs: 1,400 pounds ($2.02)
Large monktail: 1,400 pounds ($2.80)
Other landings
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 33,800 pounds of fish and 5,400 pounds of scallops Wednesday, and 96,300 pounds of fish and 15,00 pounds of scallops Thursday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 30,200 pounds of fish Wednesday and 30,200 pounds Thursday.
No landings were reported Thursday or Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
