Joe’s Dream

After 18 years of restoration, the schooner Adventure led the parade of Sails —by motor— at the 2012 Schooner. For 2013, plans are underway for the Adventure to lead by sail. But first it must pass certification from the Coast Guard, and that can’t happen without funding one final stage of restoration to meet the requirements, including a fully restored Captains Cabin, which will be named in honor of Gloucester’s beloved Joseph Garland, whose dream was to see this “Grand Old Lady” once again under sail. Please consider contributing to this final stage and help fulfill Joe’s dream: For more information, visit: www.schooner-adventure.org, call 978-281-8079, or email: info@schooner-adventure.org.
