Local storyteller Alicia Quintano will be one of the featured performers in the second annual Boston Storytelling Festival on Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Boston Public Library. Quintano joins many storytellers from Boston and beyond during the day-long celebration offered by massmouth inc. The free, family-friendly event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Boston Public Library Rabb Auditorium is located at 700 Boylston St., Boston.

Eliza Blatchford has been named to the 2012 fall semester dean’s list at McDaniel College in Westminster, Md.

Stephanie Wright has been named to the 2012 fall semester chancellor’s list at UMass Dartmouth in North Dartmouth.

Rebecca Dunlop, Jesse Kapsten, Jessica Pascucci and Luis Silva have been named to the 2012 fall semester dean’s list at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater.

Andrew Pereen, Betsey Janus, Marco Bettencourt and Megan Pereen have been named to the 2012 fall semester dean’s list at UMass Dartmouth in North Dartmouth.

Nancy Frye has been named to 2012 fall semester dean’s list at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.

Reeve Moir has been named to 2012 fall semester dean’s list at Ithaca College in Ithaca, N.Y.

These students have been named to the 2012 fall semester dean’s list at University of Massachusetts Boston in Boston: Ainsley Bruni, Ryan O’Connor, Mary Elizabeth Klics, Abigail Lechleiter, Aimee Swett, Lucas Ilges, Albert Jones, Wesley Fornero and Jessica Wong.

Francis Freedman and Sophie Hagberg have been named to the 2012 fall semester dean’s list, with first honors, at Clark University in Worcester.

Thorsen Akerley, Nathan Cruz and Carson Stevens have been named to the 2012 fall semester dean’s list, with second honors, at Clark University in Worcester.
