Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary:

Gale watch in effect from this morning through this evening.

Today, west winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 5 to 8 feet.

Tonight, west winds 20 to 25 knots diminishing to 15 to 20 knots after midnight. Gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 4 to 7 feet.

Wednesday, west winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Wednesday night, southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northeast 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas 1 foot or less. Chance of snow. Visibility 1 to 3 nautical miles.

Thursday, north winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots becoming west in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Thursday night, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Friday, southwest winds around 15 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.

Friday night,west winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.

Saturday, west winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Saturday night, north winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet. Cdhance of snow. Visibility 1 to 3 nautical miles.
