Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary:

Today, west winds 30 to 35 knots diminishing to 25 to 30 knots in the afternoon. Gusts up to 45 knots. Seas 6 to 9 feet. Light freezing spray.

Tonight, west winds 25 to 30 knots, diminishing to 15 to 20 knots after midnight. Seas 4 to 6 feet.

Tuesday, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south winds 15 to 20 knots in the afternoon. Gusts up to 25 feet. Seas 2 to 4 feet. A chance of rain.

Tuesday night, south winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west winds after midnight. Gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet.

Wednesday, west winds 20 to 25 knots increasing to 25 to 30 knots in the afternoon. Seas 4 to 6 feet.

Wednesday night, west winds 25 to 30 knots becoming northwest winds 20 to 25 knots after midnight. Seas 4 to 7 feet. A chance of light freezing spray.

Thursday, northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 35 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. A chance of light freezing spray.

Thursday night, northwest winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 35 knots. Seas 4 to 7 feet.

Friday, north winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 3 to 5 feet.

Friday night, southeast winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.
