Fish landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 22,200 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average price were:

Market cod: 8,200 pounds ($3)

Scrod haddock: 3,000 pounds ($2.30)

Large sow hake: 1,700 pounds ($2.34)

Small greysole: 1,500 pounds ($1.35)

Large pollock: 1,500 pounds (90 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 64,300 pounds of fish Wednesday.

The Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford handled 39,300 pounds of scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 29,700 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
