“Charlotte’s Web,” the beloved American children’s book, reimagined as a stage musical by Joseph Robinette in collaboration with its original author, E.B. White, will be presented by Theatre in the Pines on the stage at the Community House at the Senior Center, 58 Broadway, Rockport. Come meet White’s menagerie of irresistible characters — from Little Pig, to Gluttinous Rat, the Zuckermans, the Arables, the animal-loving Fern, and the star of the show herself, Charlotte the extraordinary spider and her amazing web. Performances are Friday, Dec. 21, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 22, 2 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 23, 2 p.m.; and Friday, Dec. 28, 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 29, 2 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 3, 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children, at Toad Hall in Rockport and The Bookstore in Gloucester.
