Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 42,700 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Ocean perch: 19,900 pounds (47 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 9,300 pounds (84 cents)

Large hake: 1,700 pounds ($2.20)

Large monktail: 1,600 pounds ($3.34)

Market cod: 1,500 pounds ($2.56)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 18,700 pounds of fish and reported no landings of scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction reported no landings Thursday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
