Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 6,000 pounds of fish Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Market cod: 1,800 pounds ($2.61)

Medium and small pollock: 800 pounds ($1.19)

:Large cod: 500 pounds ($2.86)

:Large hake: 400 pounds ($2.56)

Large pollock: 400 pounds ($1.99)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 51,400 pounds of fish and 42,100 pounds of scallops Monday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 3,400 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
