Thank You Notes

Youth program fundraiser

On Feb. 4, the Women of the Moose held a fundraiser for the Gloucester High School Youth Awareness Program at Jalapeno’s restaurant. On behalf of the WOTM and the LOOTM we would like to thank the following people and businesses:

A special thank you to Jamie and Alex from Jalapeno’s for hosting this event. We would also like to thank the following merchants for their generous donations: Soft Touch Hair Salon, The Rhumb Line restaurant, Morning Glory restaurant, Zeke’s restaurant, Wally’s Blackburn Bistro, Cape Ann Bowling Alley, Intershell, and Just Nails by Vicki.

We would also like to thank the following individuals for their contributions and their time: Laura Murray, Valerie Cook, Jodi Wall, Linda Johnson Stallings, Linda O’Malley, Bob Allen, Al Chianciola, Joey Testaverde, Jason Psalidas, Dottie Chastaine, Kathie and Brendan O’Leary, Maureen (Moe) Gallant, Kathy Hopkins, Barbara Trioli, and Carol Godinho for her donations and for organizing this event.

A very special note of thanks to Donnie Riley and Jodi Wall for their continued support and contributions to the Youth Awareness Program over the years.

All proceeds raised by this event are used to cover direct expenses for the students to present their topics to younger children, travel expenses and scholarships to each student who participates in the program.

It is a great team effort which has made this program a tremendous success.

Valentine breakfast

On behalf of the SeniorCare community, I would like to extend my gratitude to all of those who helped make the 39th Meals on Wheels Valentine Breakfast a record breaking success.

First and foremost, thank you to Lenny and Dottie Linquata and the staff of The Gloucester House. Each Valentine’s Day, the Linquata’s open the doors of The Gloucester House to sponsor this event. Because of their incredible generosity, the full proceeds from the breakfast go to support SeniorCare Meals on Wheels.
