Top species landed and average prices were:
:Medium and small pollock: 23,400 pounds (90 cents)
Large pollock: 6,300 pounds ($1.56)
Large hake: 5,200 pounds ($2.46)
Sow hake: 2,900 pounds ($2.24)
Large monktail: 2,800 pounds ($3.10)
Other landings
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 90,900 pounds of fish and scallops Thursday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 25,100 pounds of fish Wednesday.
No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
