Thank You Notes

Quick-thinking lifeguard

I want to thank and commend a young lifeguard, Zachary Warren, who was on duty at the Cape Ann YMCA on Sunday, March 3. I was swimming and accidentally swallowed a mouthful of water. I was in respiratory distress and at that point, Zachary jumped into the pool and administered the Heimlich maneuver which was effective.

He then directed another lifeguard to assist us. I thanked him at the time but I wanted people to know what a quick thinking, smart, young lifeguard he is.

Again, thank you Zachary.
