Rockport Goings On

Events listed here are open to the public and sponsored by nonprofit groups unless otherwise noted. Youth fellowship

Community Forum

Lahey Health and Addison Gilbert Hospital will host a community forum Tuesday, Oct. 15, 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Shalin Liu Performance Center, 37 Main St., to discuss recent updates and developments at Lahey Health and Addison Gilbert Hospital. All residents are encouraged to attend.

Library book sale

The Friends of the Rockport Public Library will host its annual fall book sale Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18 and 19, 10 am to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 20, 1 to 5 p.m. Features large selections of fiction, art, nature, history, cook books, children’s books and DVDs. All proceeds benefit the library’s programs.

Coffee house cabaret

The Rockport High School Drama Department will host a coffee house cabaret Thursday, Oct. 17, 7 to 9 p.m., in the school cafeteria. Students, alumni and faculty are invited to participate in the event. Participants are encouraged to share poetry, projects, songs, dance, monologues, skits, art and other areas of interest and inspiration. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. Refreshments will be for sale. All proceeds benefit the Evlin de la Barre Memorial Scholarship.
