Gloucester Goings On

Events listed here are open to the public and sponsored by nonprofit groups unless otherwise noted. North Shore Arts Association, 11 Pirates Lane, will offer these adult workshops and free artist demonstrations:

An Eye to Architecture: Painting on the Streets of Gloucester with Steve Kennedy, June 19 and 20, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Landscape and Marine Painting in Oil and Acrylic with Charles Gruppe, June 21–23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All Media Master Class with Frank Federico, June 27–30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free oil demonstration, June 22, 2 p.m.

Free watercolor demonstration with Lynn Loscutoff, June 30, noon.

Free oil demonstration, “Alla Prima Portrait Painting,” with Dianne Panarelli Miller, June 30, 2 p.m.

Eagle & Dove event

Eagle & Dove Ministries will present a free celebration through worship, arts and cultural heritage Saturday, July 27, 6:30 to 10 p.m., at the Lanesville Community Center, 8 Vulcan St. Features live worship, art and dance; and first nations guests: Dan Goddard (Abenaki), Daniel Garvin (Mic-Mac) and Dyane Beaudette (Metis).
