The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 46,800 pounds of fish Tuesday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
:Medium pollock: 11,000 pounds (88 cents)
Medium and small pollock: 11,000 pounds (60 cents)
Small dabs: 4,000 pounds (79 cents)
Large hake: 3,900 pounds ($2.15)
Whiting: 2,200 pounds (57 cents)
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 20,300 pounds of fish and 36,800 pounds of scallops Monday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 6,600 pounds of fish Monday.
No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
