Community egg hunt
The Rockport Division of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 23rd annual Rockport community egg hunt for Rockport children Saturday, March 30, 2 p.m., at the Rockport Elementary School playground area, 24 Jerden’s Lane. Preschool children will be grouped in one section, and children in kindergarten and grade one in another. Assorted candies and chocolates, as well as special eggs to be redeemed for prizes will be available. Rockport High School DECA students will hold a bake sale fundraiser Saturday, March 30, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Rockport Transfer Station. Donations will be accepted; proceeds support RHS DECA students who earned a spot to compete in the national event in California next month. DECA students will also hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser Saturday, April 6, 7:30 to 10 a.m., at The Fish Shack. Menu includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, juice and coffee. Tickets are $8 each.
