Chili & Chowder Fest
First Parish Church will host a Chili & Chowder Fest to benefit Wellspring House on Saturday, April 6, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at 1 Chapel Lane, Manchester. Tickets are $10 for adult, $5 for children under 12. Lunch includes chili, chowder, a beverage, hot dogs and assorted desserts. Free parking available behind Town Hall. ‘Power of the Purse’ event
The Women’s Fund of Essex County will host the fifth annual “Power of the Purse” fundraising event Thursday, April 4, 6:30 to 9 p.m., at Brookwood School in Manchester. The event will include hors d’oeuvres and wine, and a raffle featuring chances to win distinctive purses and bags donated by renowned designers and retailers.
