Marine weather for Cape Ann

Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.

Today, southeast winds 10 to 15 knots. Gusts up to 20 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Patchy fog. Visibility 1 nautical mile or less.

Tonight, south winds 15 to 20 knots, diminishing to 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Patchy fog. Visibility 1 to 3 nautical miles.

Saturday, southwest winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Patchy fog. Visibility 1 nautical mile or less.

Saturday night, south winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming east after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Sunday, east winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Sunday night, southeast winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming west after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Chance of showers.

Monday, northeast winds 5 to 10 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Chance of showers.

Monday night, south winds 5 to 10 knots. Seas around 2 feet. Chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday, southeast winds 5 to 10 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 3 ft. A chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Tuesday night, south winds around 10 knots with gusts up to 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Chance of showers and thunderstorms.
