Fish landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 50,900 pounds of fish Thursday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Medium and small pollock: 16,800 pounds (75 cents)

Scrod haddock: 8,600 pounds ($2.32)

Market cod: 4,600 pounds ($3.02)

Skate wings: 4,200 pounds (50 cents)

Blackbacks geo No. 2-plus: 3,500 pounds ($2.64)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 140,600 pounds of fish and 134,700 pounds of scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 49,200 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
