Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 5,700 pounds of fish and 200 pounds of scallops Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Large monkfish, head on: 1,200 pounds ($1.19)

Striped bass: 1,000 pounds ($4.91)

Large hake: 600 pounds ($2.50)

Large pollock: 300 pounds ($2.15)

Blackbacks, Georges, 2 pounds or more: 300 pounds ($2.78)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 33,900 pounds of fish and 204,700 pounds of scallops Monday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 7,000 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
