Somewhere out there in the universe

the sun shines on everyone,

the moon takes the tide in

and out at no end.

Make no mistake, it happens

each day and will forever.

There are major storms in the making

throughout the world.

When a major storm hits,

another takes place.

To be sure, that's the nature

of it all.

We must contend with its destruction,

no matter no matter what.

Holy Family hosting Strawberry festival

The Holy Family Guild is having a Strawberry Festival, plant sale, and "General Store" on June 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Home-made preserves, fresh-baked pies, cookies and goodies, strawberry shortcake, and much more will be available for sale.

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange
The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 69,100 pounds of fish Thursday.
Top species landed and average prices were:
Medium and small pollock: 20,200 pounds (75 cents)
Scrod haddock: 18,500 pounds ($2.54)
