Coastal waters east of Ipswich Bay and the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary.

Gale watch in effect this afternoon through Sunday morning.

Today, northwest winds 5 to 10 knots, becoming north 20 to 25 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Snow. Visibility 1 nautical mile or less.

Tonight, north winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30 knots. Seas 6 to 9 feet. Light freezing spray likely. Chance of snow showers. Visibility 1 nautical mile or less.

Sunday, northwest winds around 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 5 to 8 feet. Light freezing spray likely.

Sunday night, northwest winds 15 to 20 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 4 to 6 feet. Light freezing spray likely.

Monday, west winds around 15 knots with gusts to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet.

Monday night, west winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Tuesday, southwest winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.

Tuesday night, west winds 10 to 15 knots with gusts up to 25 knots. Seas around 2 feet. Chance of showers.

Wednesday, northeast winds around 10 knots. Seas 1 foot or less.

Holy Family hosting Strawberry festival

The Holy Family Guild is having a Strawberry Festival, plant sale, and "General Store" on June 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Home-made preserves, fresh-baked pies, cookies and goodies, strawberry shortcake, and much more will be available for sale.

Top species landed and average prices were:
Medium and small pollock: 20,200 pounds (75 cents)
