Fish landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 29,600 pounds of fish Thursday.

Top species landed and average prices were: Ocean perch: 8,500 pounds (53 cents) Large hake: 3,800 pounds ($1.13) Small and medium pollock: 2,300 pounds (80 cents)

Whole, head on, monkfish: 2,100 pounds ($1.51) Large monktail: 1,700 pounds ($3.70)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction,handled 62,700 pounds of fish and 138,900 pounds of scallops Wednesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 27,200 pounds of fish Wednesday.

No landings were reported Thursday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
