Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 6,900 pounds of fish Monday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Skate wings: 900 pounds (50 cents)

Large monkfish, head on: 900 pounds ($1.24)

Large monktail: 600 pounds ($3.18)

Large hake: 600 pounds ($1.52)

Market cod: 400 pounds ($2.93)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 48,800 pounds of fish and 104,300 pounds of scallops Monday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 5,600 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
