Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 6,000 pounds of fish Friday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Large monkfish, head on:1,900 pounds ($1.21)

King whiting: 800 pounds (62 cents)

:Market cod: 500 pounds ($3.17)

:Whiting: 500 pounds (40 cents)

Small yellowtail: 400 pounds (92 cents)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 27,500 pounds of fish and 110,400 pounds of scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 23,000 pounds of fish Thursday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
