Cape Ann Symphony welcomes rising young star violinist Tessa Lark for A Most Mozartian Mother’s Day concert on Saturday, May 10, 8 p.m., in the Manchester Essex High School auditorium, 36 Lincoln St., Manchester. Features Lark playing “Violin Concerto No. 5” in A Major and the orchestra playing “Overture to the Marriage of Figaro” and Mozart’s final symphony, “Jupiter.” Tickets are $35 for adults, $30 for seniors, $20 for those ages 19-24, free for those ages 18 and under. Rotary Club fundraiser
The Rotary Club will host “A Night at the Races” fundraiser Friday, May 16, at Cruiseport Gloucester, 6 Rowe’s Wharf. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. All proceeds support renovations to the Antonio Gentile Bandstand at Stage Fort Park. Features hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and raffles. GHS Class of 1947
The Gloucester High School Class of 1947 will hold its 67th reunion at the Gloucester House restaurant on Monday, May 19, at 1 p.m. Everyone who started with the class is welcome to attend.
