Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 36,300 pounds of fish Tuesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

Medium and small pollock: 13,500 pounds (57 cents)

Market cod: 4,900 pounds ($1.48)

Large monktail: 3,000 pounds ($2.35)

Small dabs: 2,300 pounds ($1.08)

Large hake: 2,000 pounds ($1.56)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 135,900 pounds of fish and 87,500 pounds of scallops Monday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 50,400 pounds of fish Monday.

No landings were reported Tuesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
