Top species landed and average prices were:
Ocean perch: 16,800 pounds (49 cents)
Scrod haddock: 8,300 pounds ($2.43)
Blackbacks, geo No. 1 and 2: 5,600 pounds ($1.21)
Blackbacks, geo No. 2-plus: 5,200 pounds ($1.66)
Market cod: 3,900 pounds ($2.80)
Other landings
The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston's Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester's Whaling City Auction, handled 68,900 pounds of fish and 170,300 pounds of scallops Tuesday.
The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 4,600 pounds of fish Tuesday.
No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
