Library offering Genealogy 101

The Sawyer Free Library will host three of Gloucester’s most experienced archivists for a one-hour seminar on the basics of genealogical research.

The panel consists of Sarah Dunlap and Jane Walsh, both of the Gloucester Archives, and Stephanie Buck of the Cape Ann Museum, and will be moderated by Christy Park.

Practical tools and strategies will be presented for beginning genealogists.

This seminar will be offered in the Friend Room of Sawyer Free Library on Thursday, Sept. 12, from 7 to 8 p.m.
