Friends of the TOHP Burnham Library annual pie fest, noon to 5 p.m. Bakers and eaters needed. $3 per slice. Proceeds benefit children’s programming.

Happy As A Clam 5K Road Race and One-Mile Fun Run, Essex Elementary School, 12 Story St. Registration at 4 p.m., followed by race at 5:30 p.m. Fundraiser for Essex Elementary PTO. $25 for 5K, $8 for fun run. www.happyasaclam.org.
