Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 47,400 pounds of fish Wednesday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 6,500 pounds ($1.10)

Ocean perch: 5,600 pounds (45 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 4,900 pounds (91 cents)

Large monktail: 3,800 pounds ($2.40)

Large hake: 3,600 pounds ($2.43)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 130,400 pounds of fish and scallops Tuesday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 17,100 pounds of fish Tuesday.

No landings were reported Wednesday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
