Marissa Ostrovitz, a senior at Manchester Essex Regional High School, conducted research in epidemiology at the Department of Health and Epidemiology at Queens College, City University of New York, during her Authentic Science Research internship. Ostrovitz spoke about her work, “Gender Differences in Aging and Mobility,” before her high school colleagues on April 30.

Ostrovitz has been accepted for the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium, the New England regional symposia paper, or poster, competition.
