Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 23,700 pounds of fish Thursday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 8,800 pounds ($2.14)

Large pollock: 2,400 pounds ($3.82)

Ocean perch: 2,400 pounds ($1.52)

:Large monktail: 1,700 pounds ($3.72)

:Large hake: 1,600 pounds ($3.04)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 89,900 pounds of fish and scallops Thursday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 8,900 pounds of fish Thursday.

No landings were reported Friday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
