Call for art
Artwork is sought for “twentythirteen: recent works,” an exhibition of paintings, photography, mixed-media and sculpture at the Cultural Center at Rocky Neck in Gloucester. Guest juror is Blyth Hazen, an associate professor at Montserrat College of Art. Prizes will be awarded. Deadline is May 15. To request an entry form, email email@example.com.
Gloucester High School and St. Ann High School classmates are planning a 55-year reunion Friday, Aug. 2, at Woodman’s function hall in Essex. Letters have been mailed out; anyone who has not received a letter should call Marie Murray at 978-283-7333 or RoRo Aiello at 978-283-1664. Classmates are asked to remit by May 15.

The Capt. Lester S. Wass American Legion, Post 3, will hold its annual elections Tuesday, May 28, 7 p.m., at the post. Members are also encouraged to attend the next executive board meeting Monday, May 13, at 7 p.m.
