Fish Landings

Cape Ann Seafood Exchange

The Cape Ann Seafood Exchange handled 35,800 pounds of fish Monday.

Top species landed and average prices were:

:Medium pollock: 14,800 pounds (77 cents)

Medium and small pollock: 4,700 pounds (65 cents)

Large pollock: 2,400 pounds ($2.29)

Mackerel: 2,300 pounds (97 cents)

Large monktail: 1,100 pounds ($3.80)

Other landings

The Buyers And Sellers Exchange (BASE), an electronic auctioning company that sells landings at owner Whaling City Seafood Display Auction in New Bedford, Boston’s Whaling City Auction, and Gloucester’s Whaling City Auction, handled 145,100 pounds of fish and scallops Friday.

The Portland, Maine, Display Auction handled 56,600 pounds of fish Sunday.

No landings were reported Monday at the New England Fish Exchange in Boston.
